It is very user-friendly and you, the client, will be able to make changes to the content easily and quickly anytime you wish without having to call your web designer for every little change. Since we ascribe to the KISS method at eHemisphere, we utilize pre-built Professional Themes in all of our websites.

Hosted shopping carts take care of all the security for you. They automatically update their servers and software in the background – you don’t even know it is going on. PCI compliance is huge with credit card processing companies now and the only sites that are truly secure are those on hosted platforms where they focus so strongly on security.

What do you work on that engrosses you so much that you forgot about the meeting at 1:00 and feel refreshed after the work is finished? I, Amy, enter the flow state when I am a) analyzing an Excel data dump b) programming a website or c) gardening!
I might enter flow too when I am sitting on the beach here in the Florida Panhandle watching the waves roll in and out. But that probably doesn’t count does it?
I hold both a Bachelors and Masters in Information Systems from Arizona State University. My career has been varied and fun. From programming Cobol during Y2k, to managing IT departments for major corporations to analyzing statistics at Florida International University to freelancing, I have experience in multiple industries and in multiple roles. My philosophy when searching for a website to trust with my money:
– Is the website up to date? i.e. Does the theme look dated?
– Are there any major spelling errors? This tells me they did not take the time to edit. Also, haven’t you seen those phony emails from some far off person asking you to send money to their country and the spelling is completely atrocius? (HAHA! Get it?!?)
– Do they use SSL for processing payments?
– Do I recognize the brands of the items on the site?
– Is there a phone number so I can call in case I have a question?
– Is shipping free or below $5.00?
